    Biography Notes Ewen was the subject of a paternity complaint lodged by Mary McLean with the Kilmallie Kirk Sessions in 1837.
    Mary asserted that fornication occurred when they were both working at Ardgour Inn at Corran, and that Ewen was living at the slate quarries in Bullachulish.
    The outcome of the claim, and the confirmation of the birth, has not been found.
