- Lindsay was buried in the Polkemmet cemetery half a mile north of the Polkemmet homestead, on private property close to the east bank of the Wimmera River. ln 1966 the cemetery was restored by the Arapiles Historical Society and a plaque erected bearing forty-five names including that of Lindsay
