On 25th April 1916, Arthur enlisted in the Australia Imperial Force at Adelaide. He became number 3009 Trooper A H Tucker travelling on the Maplemore to train and served overseas in Egypt and Palestine with the 1st Australian Light Horse Training Regiment and the 3rd Light Horse Regiment. He was killed in action in Palestine on 22nd Dec 1917. |
