Telephone call to Pauline Dec 2018 sister to Harold Clarke and lived amoung these people offered me details, in notes in private until further evidence.
This circa (about) 1946 is because Harold was discharged Nov 1945 and first child born 1947. She remembers Harold (her brother) arriving (no date recall) with Melva (Bonney) announcing "we're married!" Harry's style she said as his flamboyant nature apparently was back in those early days.
