- [S-165] FS Pauline Clarke re Clarke and Appelt families-telephone, 15 Nov 2018 Researcher Lorna Mclean.
Telephone call to Pauline Dec 2018 sister to Harold Clarke and lived amoung these people offered me details, in notes in private until further evidence.
This year 1946 is because Harold was discharged Nov 1945 and first child born 1947. Harold's sisters and Margaret (in Nov 2018) spoke to Researcher Lorna McLean and both remember Harold (their brother) arriving unnanounced (no day/month recall) with Melva (Bonney) announcing "we're married!" Harry's style they said as his flamboyant nature apparently was back in those early days.
