Max, an amateur cyclist and road racer, won numerous trophies. In 1932, a promotional cycle ride (to publize a new kind of bike) from Adelaide to Melbourne and back for Myer Emporium was repeated two years later.
He also appeared in Musical Comedies in many Adelaide theatres, as a specialty tap dancer (member of a trio) eg. "Victoria and Her Hussai" at the Theatre Royal. |
